Our standards

Clear information deserves clear standards.

Hospice decisions can feel urgent and unfamiliar. SimplyNaya creates practical, family-facing education to help people understand the questions in front of them before they speak with a provider.

Our founder’s perspective

SimplyNaya was founded by Douglas Blake, a senior living operator with more than 20 years of experience supporting older adults, families and care teams. This is operational and family-navigation experience, not a substitute for clinical judgment. Medical questions, eligibility and treatment decisions belong with qualified clinicians and the selected hospice.

How we create resources

What our resources are—and are not

Our guides are general education. They do not provide medical advice, diagnose a condition, determine hospice eligibility, guarantee coverage or recommend a specific treatment plan.

SimplyNaya is independent. We are not a hospice provider and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Medicare, CMS or HHS.

Family choice is not negotiable

Families may use the information, speak with any provider and choose the hospice that is right for the person receiving care. A call or visit to SimplyNaya does not commit anyone to hospice care.

We do not record calls. Our public resources do not require a medical intake. When provider information is shared, it is shared privately so families can consider options without becoming a public lead.

Questions or corrections

If you see information that may need to be corrected or clarified, contact us through the appropriate support path. Provider partnerships and reporting questions may be sent to partners@simplynaya.com.
